Is verification really free?
Yes. Anyone can verify any image or video through our public API or web interface without an account. Signing content requires a plan.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
During our early access period, we apply soft limits. You'll receive usage alerts before any restrictions are applied, giving you time to upgrade.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period. You can manage your subscription through the billing portal.
Do you store my images or videos?
No. Tectra stores only cryptographic hashes, fingerprints, and metadata. Your actual content never leaves your infrastructure when using the SDK or Docker Agent.
What blockchain do you use?
Provenance records are anchored on the Polygon blockchain, providing low-cost, fast-finality immutable proofs verifiable by anyone via any block explorer.
Is the browser extension free?
Yes, the Tectra Verify Chrome extension is free for everyone. It uses the public verification API which requires no account.
What is tectra-verify?
tectra-verify is our MIT-licensed open-source verification library. It lets anyone extract watermarks, compute hashes, and verify Merkle proofs without using our API. Install with pip install tectra-verify.
How do webhooks work?
Webhooks send real-time HTTP notifications to your server when events happen (content signed, batch anchored on blockchain). Available on Starter plans and above.
